Attorney Ronald Langacker graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1993, and received his Juris Doctorate in 1996 from Valparaiso University. While attending law school, he spent extensive time volunteering in the law school’s criminal clinic.
From 1997 to 2001, Ron practiced in Danville, Illinois, where he maintained a general law practice engaged in criminal law, family law, and personal injury cases. In 2001, he became Vice-President of EP-Direct, one of the largest quick printing companies in Wisconsin, where he served as the general counsel for seven years. In 2009, Ron founded Langacker Law, Ltd., re-establishing his practice in Central Illinois. Ron also maintains his licenses in Indiana and Wisconsin. Ron's main focus is representing plaintiffs in employment causes of action. He has extensive experience in client consultation, researching and writing, drafting complex pleadings, motions practice, as well trial and appellate practice, including arguments before the Illinois Supreme Court. Ron has practiced law in 5 states and 40 counties in over 22 years. Ron is a member of the Human Rights Section of the Illinois State Bar Association. Paralegal

Jessica has served as the Legal Assistant and Office Manager at Langacker Law since 2015, and received her Paralegal Certificate from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2018. Jessica assists with scheduling, client interviews, deposition preparation, discovery production, billing, and general client services.
When she's not in the office, you can find Jessica immersed in a book while sipping a latte at Espresso Royale. In her free time, Jessica participates in book clubs, knitting groups, and is always on the lookout for new and interesting activities in Champaign-Urbana.
